I'm using contraceptives. Will it affect my results?

Progestin-only contraceptives usually have minimal, if any, effects on your test results. Combined oral contraceptives (containing both estrogen and progestin) may affect the levels of some Blood Test Contributors. For example, they may affect the level of Cholesterol Balance, Fatty Acid Balance and Low-grade Inflammation. Therefore, you may notice that your results change if you start or stop using combined oral contraceptives, or switch contraceptive brands between two tests. Keeping this in mind, you can still use Livit by Nightingale Health to track your health and to see effects of lifestyle changes.
