Medical conditions can influence your blood test results depending on the condition and the drugs used to treat it. Amongst others, medications that may influence the blood test results are oral contraceptives (especially combination pills), diabetes medicines, and lipid-lowering (cardiovascular) medicines. Please consider consulting your doctor before taking the test if you are unsure whether your condition might affect the results.
