Yes, type 1 diabetes will affect your blood test results. For instance, depending on your current health situation, your glucose level might be elevated. An elevated glucose level will also affect your blood sugar and diabetes resistance health indicator scores. Also, your cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk might not accurately represent your actual risk as type 1 diabetes won’t be factored into the CVD risk calculations.
